Amazing view and great quality. Beautiful place to rejuvenate and relax. The hosts were also extremely friendly and welcoming. Cleanliness was a huge plus to the house as everything was spic and span.

The apartment is huge. 3 bedrooms and a balcony with ocean view. Everything is there so you can do easily self catering but a nice restaurant is 5 min walking. So is the beach.the landlord is very friendly giving all the information.

Alles wat ons gehoop het Die gastehuis is werklik alles wat ons voor gehoop het. Die eenheid was baie goed toegerus, klipgooi van die see af en loopafstand strand toe. Ons was ook beindruk met die verwekomings e-pos van die gasheer wat baie duidelik en persoonlik al die inligting bevat het wat ons nodig sou kry. Die verwelkoming was baie vriendelik en ek kan die plek sonder twyfel aanbeveel. We were blown away with the unspoiled nature and beautiful plant and animal life.We feasted our eyes on white beaches and turquoise seas.All our senses were enticed with soothing sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks and fresh ocean breeze.Our hosts thought of every possible need, and paid attention to every last detail(including fresh flowers in room and champagne in fridge to celebrate my 50th)

The flats are modern, spacious, well equipped with everything one needs for a short or longer stay. The location is spectacular, just steps from the dramatic Kleinmond sea front and the week kept walking paths that stretch for miles from the harbor to the beach and beyond. The sounds and views of the ocean are unobstructed from the balconies, and there are dramatic view of the mountains behind Werner and Lorraine are gracious and knowledgeable hosts who are there for your every need. Their family have been in this spot for centuries, and their knowledge of the history and the natural surroundings of the area is inexhaustible. If you have the good fortune to experience a Braai with the Pauws it is sure to be memorable.

We had the pleasure of staying at "Die Rotse" for a weekend, and I wish I could have stayed there forever! The view from my bedroom window was absolutely stunning. It feels like you could just reach out and touch the sea. If the sea view did not take your breath away, the magnificent mountain view from the kitchen will most definitely do!! The host family thought of every single little luxury you could imagine to make us feel special and welcome. Thank you Werner and Lorraine for the snoek, velvet pudding, wine and hospitality and great company!! You will see us again ... Soon!

We spent 5 days at Dierotse. Very impressed. The establishment is superbly and thoughtfully run. The host is friendly, helpful and genuinely entertaining. The flat is clean and has all the necessities provided which an international traveler would wish for in the way of internet, adaptors etc. Although we are just a couple needing only a one bedroom flat, we will be quite happy to rent the 3-bedroom again as we have really enjoyed our holiday thanks to Dierostse and its host. The host philosophy bears it out: You come as a paying guest and you leave as a friend.

The units can accommodate 6 persons however we were only two persons and the rates were adjusted accordingly. This is the second time we stay with Werner and Lorraine and always extremely happy with everything – I can recommend it to anybody. "Eight stars" Braai, watch the whales, walk on the beach, walk to the mountains, see the penguins, enjoy the hospitality of the owners Mr. and Mrs. Pauw. I did it all, except the whales as i missed them for "one second" (one month). I originally come from Slovenia, Europe and Kleinmond will definitely stay in my good memory. We are very grataeful that we could stay in your beautiful house after a long evening looking for accomadation without success. We had a wonderful time there in you beautiful country and it was so exciting to be able to see the whales thanks to you. We also saw the the Penguins and we enjoyed all the coast down to Cape Town but we were not able to see the West Coast Route because we ran out of time, which was a shame but this will be a chance for returning some time again.
